Job summary

The Project Management Institute (PMI) is seeking a seasoned professional to lead the Thought Leadership production process from initiation to publication. You will stand up project documents, build schedules, run team meetings, and ensure the portfolio meets its commitments.

This hands-on delivery role requires delivering to plan, surfacing risks early, and coordinating across functions with a focus on reliable rhythms and stakeholder alignment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, PM, communications, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in project or program management with multiple concurrent initiatives.
• Experience managing content, editorial, research, or campaign production from initiation to publication.
• Ability to hold delivery accountability across contributors not directly managed.
• Experience developing project charters, schedules, and risk/issue logs.
• Hands-on experience with PM platforms (Monday.com, Asana, Smartsheet).

Responsibilities

• Run the Thought Leadership department's production process from initiation through publication, including documenting, scheduling, meetings, and portfolio commitments.
• Ensure on-time, high-quality delivery and provide leadership with accurate status across initiatives.
• Collaborate across functions and coordinate contributors, while managing risk and maintaining a predictable portfolio rhythm.
