Job summary

The International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer (IASLC) invites applications for a Scientific Program Manager to support member-led initiatives that advance collaborative science among physicians, researchers, and healthcare professionals worldwide.

Based in our downtown Denver office on a hybrid schedule, this full-time, exempt, non-supervisory role collaborates with global scientists to manage scientific programs, budgets, and communications, with travel (5-10%) as needed, and

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in project management or healthcare administration.
• Scientific or medical background in thoracic cancer or pathology.
• US citizenship or permanent resident status required.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally (5-10%).
• Proficient with technology and able to learn new software quickly.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement scientific programs, research projects, and education to advance knowledge of thoracic cancers.
• Manage the life cycle of scientific projects with timelines, deliverables, and reporting.
• Serve as staff liaison to Pathology and Rare Tumors Committees.
• Communicate scientific content to healthcare professionals, scientists, and patients.
• Support preparation of content for grants, proposals, and publications.
• Help develop, execute, and manage budgets, contracts, and data use agreements.
• Improve workflows using organizational tools and software.
• Provide member service and support to IASLC members and partners.
• Attend IASLC meetings and events.
• Stay current on advances in thoracic cancer.
