Job summary

Baltimore Aircoil Company, Inc. seeks a Manager of Thermal Test Engineering to lead the global thermal testing capability, ensuring accurate data for modeling, certification, and NPD/NPI.

You will own test methodologies, train personnel, and drive improvements across labs and regions. The role interfaces with NPD, Thermal Engineering, and Regional teams and requires hands-on leadership and strong data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• BS degree with thermodynamics, heat/mass transfer and fluid mechanics
• Programming skills in engineering software (e.g., Excel VBA) and CAD
• 6+ years in testing HVAC & refrigeration systems/components

Responsibilities

• Own and lead thermal testing programs with high-quality data
• Support predictive modeling and product development through testing
• Drive data analysis and actionable design recommendations
• Manage CTI certification/testing and ensure compliance
• Represent BAC in industry forums and drive best practices
• Develop and coach the thermal testing team across sites
• Improve testing methodologies, SOPs, and data validation
• Improve lab capabilities and data systems globally
• Provide deep expertise in boiler plant and ammonia condenser test facility
• Support field and factory testing activities and reporting
• Track performance metrics and drive corrective actions
