Job summary

Baltimore Aircoil Company, Inc. is seeking a Manager, Global Component Engineering to lead a worldwide team of engineers.

You will own end-to-end component qualification, testing, and lifecycle management across product lines, ensuring reliability, cost-competitiveness, and regulatory compliance. You will collaborate with Product Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Quality to deliver standardized processes, drive supplier diversification, and continuously improve component performance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering; 7–10+ years of engineering experience.
• Experience leading global engineering teams and cross-functional programs.
• Strong understanding of component selection, qualification, and lifecycle management.

Responsibilities

• Lead global component engineering and qualification processes for production readiness.
• Establish qualification standards, test plans, and documentation for repeatable results.
• Partner with Global Supply Chain to qualify alternate suppliers and reduce risk.
• Drive cost-out initiatives via design optimization and supplier engagement.
• Coach engineers across regions and ensure regulatory and manufacturability compliance.
