The Opportunity

We are seeking a Global Therapy Development Specialist for our Vascular division. This is a fully remote position.

Main Purpose of Role

The specialist champions issues with major implications for the company, provides broad technical advice, mentors staff, and acts as an advisor on business projects. Responsibilities include developing training programs, overseeing product launches, and leading cross-functional teams to develop or improve training activities.

Job Responsibilities

1. Coordinate and execute training programs and product launches for Endovascular and Coronary therapies.
2. Become a Subject Matter Expert for Abbott’s product lines, including training and certification of physicians and sales teams.
3. Collaborate with stakeholders across marketing, legal, regulatory, and medical education teams.
4. Partner with key opinion leaders internationally for initiatives, launches, and training.
5. Ensure compliance and approval processes are followed for training content.
6. Manage and support special projects, including collaboration and curriculum development.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years of clinical or training experience in cardiovascular/endovascular therapy or related sales/marketing.
• Ability to assess needs and design training programs.
• Technical knowledge of current and new products in the field.
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Cloud.
• Ability to work independently and in teams, manage multiple priorities, and travel >50%.

Preferred Experience

• Experience or certification in peripheral treatments.
