The Opportunity

Located in Des Plaines, IL, this role involves driving growth in Oncology by providing technical expertise and strategic support. You will liaise between field service teams and internal Quality and Operations functions to ensure high standards.

What You’ll Work On

• Develop and implement Oncology-specific service strategies, tools, and training
• Improve customer satisfaction and operational performance through proactive issue resolution
• Serve as the global technical expert for Oncology service issues
• Collaborate with regional service leaders to address market needs
• Act as the primary contact for Oncology-related matters between field and internal teams
• Lead root cause investigations, CAPA, and quality initiatives
• Develop technical training and documentation
• Monitor service performance metrics for trends and improvements
• Participate in product lifecycle and service innovation projects
• Represent the service function in global Oncology strategy discussions
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in biomedical engineering, Life Sciences, or related field
• 7-10 years of experience in medical device service or technical support, with 2+ years in Oncology technologies
• Experience with FISH and Cytogenetics
• Experience in global or regional customer-facing roles within a matrix organization
• Knowledge of quality systems, FDA, ISO 13485, and CAPA processes
• Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and collaborate internally
• Experience in technical training development and delivery
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to travel internationally (up to 25%)

• CG(ASCP) certification (preferred)
