The role provides global technical leadership, guides capital projects, mentors staff, and collaborates cross-functionally to drive process improvements, safety, quality, and knowledge sharing across sites.

Qualifications

• BS Engineering or Science.
• 8+ yrs manufacturing experience in a GMP regulated environment (pharmaceutical manufacturing preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering leadership globally in spray dried technology for amorphous solid dispersions, including solvent system selection and process parameter definition.
• Collaborate cross-functionally in manufacturing and development to direct discipline activities, new technology development, assessments, and deployment.
• Assist with technical evaluations, technology assessment and problem resolution including troubleshooting and productivity improvements.
• Develop informal and formal networks with manufacturing and development peers to identify opportunities to apply engineering principles to Lilly operations.
• Develop experimental programs, protocols and models to address technical problems, including vessel and scale-down models.
• Supervise laboratory experiments and ensure safety, quality and speed.
• Prepare technical reports and other supporting documentation for knowledge sharing.
• Leverage external resources to stay current in area of technology expertise.
