Job summary

Lilly in Indianapolis seeks an Associate VP for Dry Products/SDD to provide scientific and organizational leadership across the dry products portfolio. You will hire, develop, and retain technical talent, ensuring robust control strategies and collaboration with Product Development, Manufacturing sites, and Quality to meet strategic goals.

The role emphasizes building the network, aligning capabilities, and driving a strong technical agenda while maintaining safety and regulatory compliance

Qualifications

• Understanding of cGMPs in a manufacturing setting.
• Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
• Knowledge of corporate policies.
• Ability to influence without direct authority.
• Experience in technical leadership positions in Dry Product manufacturing.
• Strong leadership and written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and run the organization.
• Determine appropriate technical expertise at network level and close capability gaps.
• Ensure resources are deployed to support dry product sites.
• Oversee performance management and development plans.
• Conduct interim and year-end performance reviews.
• Coach, develop, and provide feedback to reports.
• Lead recognition, compensation, and promotion activities.
• Lead talent assessment and succession planning for network and sites.
• Encourage shared learning within and outside the department.
• Lead short and long-term business planning (objectives, budget, capital).
• Lead control strategy, commercialization, and tech agenda.
• Develop expectations for Control Strategy Implementation with TS/MS leadership.
