Job summary

Teradyne seeks a senior technology leader to shape enterprise strategy for its Semiconductor and Product Test businesses. This role guides where the company builds, buys, partners, invests, or licenses, informing executive decisions across corporate development and business units.

The candidate will work with business units, customers, and targets, overseeing quarterly strategy documents and end-to-end M&A efforts in areas like silicon photonics.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in senior technical leadership in semiconductor or related tech.
• BSc in Electrical Engineering and a master’s degree (technical or MBA).
• Experience defining enterprise technology strategy, including build, buy, and partner decisions.
• Hands-on with tech-driven M&A, diligence, and target evaluation.
• Proven ability to influence at executive level across the enterprise.

Responsibilities

• Define and communicate the enterprise technology strategy across units.
• Lead M&A and investment strategy for focus areas (e.g., silicon photonics).
• Establish standards for technical diligence and integration in inorganic activities.
