Job summary

Aristocrat is seeking a Senior Category Manager – Technology Procurement to shape the global sourcing plan across technology spend, including SaaS, cloud, and IT services. You will lead multi-year roadmaps aligned with product priorities and financial targets, and manage high-value negotiations with enterprise vendors.

The role requires 10+ years in tech sourcing, SaaS licensing, and cloud pricing, with a proven ability to influence senior leaders in global, matrix environments.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in technology sourcing/procurement, vendor management, and commercial negotiations.
• Extensive background in SaaS licensing, cloud pricing structures, and enterprise technology agreements.
• Proven ability to influence senior collaborators and guide complex negotiations.
• Experience in global/matrix environments with exposure to FinOps, cloud optimization, or engineering cost models.
• Strategic problem solver with strong commercial competence and ability to influence without authority at senior levels.

Responsibilities

• Define and own global strategy across technology spend, including SaaS, cloud, infrastructure, and IT services.
• Establish multi-year sourcing roadmaps aligned with technology roadmap, product and engineering priorities, and financial targets.
• Manage complex, high-value negotiations; formulate commercial models for SaaS licensing, cloud pricing, and multi-year contracts.
• Structure agreements to optimize cost, flexibility, and risk.
• Own the global supplier landscape and establish segmentation and partnership models.
• Lead executive-level vendor engagements with CTO/Engineering, Product, Finance, Legal, and Security teams.
• Advise on build vs buy decisions, vendor selection, and commercial risk/trade-offs.
• Use analytics/AI to leverage spend data for cost efficiency and strategic opportunities.
• Influence procurement policies and security/compliance frameworks.
