Job summary

Apex Fintech Solutions is seeking a Sourcing Category Manager to own the technology category within Procurement. You will manage software, hardware, and IT services, lead negotiations, and drive renewals, aligning vendor spend with Apex's tech roadmap.

You will work with AI-powered tools to identify savings opportunities and run quarterly vendor reviews, shaping how Apex invests in technology across offices and teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in strategic sourcing and category management.
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Familiarity with software/SaaS and IT services.

Responsibilities

• Own the technology category end-to-end including Software/SaaS, Hardware/Equipment, and IT services.
• Lead competitive sourcing events, contract negotiations, and renewals.
• Develop category strategies aligned with Apex's technology roadmap.
• Benchmark pricing and identify cost optimization opportunities.
• Drive 90-day renewal engagement and manage renewal pipeline.
• Establish and run QBRs with top technology vendors.
• partner with InfoSec, FP&A, and Legal throughout the lifecycle.
• Leverage data and AI tools for procurement insights and savings.
