Job summary

Sterling Computers Corporation is seeking a Logistics Manager to oversee and optimize end-to-end logistics and the supply chain for technology products. You will manage inbound/outbound shipments, negotiate carrier contracts, and drive cost efficiency across global operations.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field and 7+ years in logistics or operations management, ideally in high-volume tech distribution. A master’s degree and APICS/Six Sigma credentials are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or related field.
• Master’s degree is a plus.
• 7+ years of logistics, supply chain, or operations management experience in tech distribution.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize inventory flow, reduce costs, and enhance operational efficiency.
• Oversee inbound and outbound shipments, negotiate carrier contracts, and ensure compliance with international and domestic shipping regulations.
• Collaborate with warehouse teams to improve inventory accuracy, minimize stock discrepancies, and streamline order fulfillment processes.
• Manage relationships with logistics providers, 3PL partners, and technology manufacturers to ensure seamless product movement.
• Identify inefficiencies in supply chain processes and implement best practices, leveraging technology and automation where applicable.
• Ensure compliance with trade regulations, customs requirements, and environmental standards while mitigating supply chain risks.
• Utilize data-driven insights to track KPIs, monitor supply chain performance, and support executive decision-making.
• Work closely with sales, procurement, and customer service teams to align logistics strategies with business goals and customer expectations.
