Job summary

Idera, Inc. is seeking an experienced Director of Worldwide Tax to lead our global tax strategy and execution across domestic and international operations. You will manage a team of four tax professionals and coordinate with Big Four firms, driving tax efficiency and compliance.

The role reports to the CFO and focuses on transfer pricing, structuring, tax risk, and AI-enabled tax transformation to scale with the business.

Qualifications

8+ years of progressive tax experience, including U.S. corporate and international tax.
Strong technical knowledge of U.S. federal and international taxation (GILTI, FDII, credits).
Experience with multinational businesses, transfer pricing, intercompany trade and cross-border.
Public accounting background, Big Four or national firm preferred.
Experience using AI, automation, analytics in tax or finance is highly valued.

Responsibilities

Lead Idera’s worldwide tax function, covering US/intl taxes, transfer pricing, and indirect tax.
Develop and execute tax strategies for cash taxes, ETR, risk, and compliance.
Serve as principal tax advisor to CFO and Finance leadership.
Manage global tax compliance, planning, and documentation across jurisdictions.
Lead M&A tax diligence, structuring, integration, and post-deal tax issues.
Oversee tax accounting under U.S. GAAP and tax provision processes.
