Job summary

Idera, Inc. seeks an experienced Director, Worldwide Tax to lead our global tax function. You will shape international and domestic tax strategy, tax accounting, transfer pricing, and compliance, reporting directly to the CFO.

You will manage a four-member tax team and collaborate with Big Four firms and other advisors to drive tax efficiency across a complex multinational organization. AI-driven approaches and automation are part of the transformation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation or related field.
• CPA strongly preferred; MST or other advanced degree is a plus.
• 8+ years of progressive tax experience including U.S. corporate and international tax.

Responsibilities

• Lead Idera’s worldwide tax function, including U.S. federal, state and local, international, transfer pricing, and indirect taxes.
• Develop and execute tax strategies to manage global cash taxes, effective tax rate, tax risk, and compliance.
• Serve as principal tax advisor to CFO and Finance leadership on major decisions and transactions.
• Oversee global tax developments and assess impact on entities, cash flows, and financials.
• Lead, develop, and mentor the internal tax team and manage external advisors.
