Job summary

Idera, Inc. in Austin, TX is seeking an experienced Director, Worldwide Tax to lead our global tax function. Reporting to the CFO, you will shape tax strategy, oversee compliance, and manage international and domestic tax matters, transfer pricing, and M&A tax work.

You will lead a team of four tax professionals, partner with Big Four firms, and drive a modern, AI-enabled tax operation to scale with our growth.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive tax experience, including U.S. corporate and international tax.
• Strong knowledge of GILTI, FDII, foreign tax credits, E&P, and reporting.
• Experience with transfer pricing and global tax compliance.
• Big Four or national firm background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead worldwide tax function including US and international taxes.
• Develop and execute global tax strategy and compliance.
• Manage tax accounting under US GAAP and tax provision.
• Oversee transfer pricing, restructurings, and M&A tax work.
• Lead and develop tax team and external advisors.
