Job summary

Idera, Inc. seeks an experienced Director, Worldwide Tax to lead its global tax function, reporting to the CFO. You will oversee international and domestic tax, tax accounting, transfer pricing, and indirect taxes while guiding a team of four tax professionals.

Collaborate with Accounting, Treasury, Legal, and Corporate Development to shape tax strategy and ensure compliant, scalable operations across geographies. Embrace AI and automation to modernize tax processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation required.
• CPA strongly preferred; MST or advanced degree is a plus.
• 8+ years of progressive tax experience, including U.S. corporate and international tax.

Responsibilities

• Lead worldwide tax function (U.S. federal/state, international, transfer pricing, indirect taxes).
• Oversee tax planning, compliance, and reporting across global operations.
• Lead M&A tax due diligence, structuring, and integration; manage external advisors.
