Job summary

SPX Technologies in Charlotte, NC seeks a Senior Manager, International Tax to drive global tax planning, ASC 740 reporting, and cross-border transactions. You will partner with leadership and finance teams to optimize international tax positions within a complex multinational framework.

The role offers visibility to senior leadership, exposure to Pillar Two initiatives, and a pathway to broader tax leadership.

Qualifications

Masters of Accounting, MST, JD, or similar educational background; CPA preferred.
Minimum of 7+ years of progressive tax experience with a Big-4 or large public accounting firm serving multinational public companies or similar industry experience.

Responsibilities

Lead global tax planning initiatives and cross-border structuring projects.
Advise leadership on tax consequences of acquisitions, divestitures, financing activities, and legal entity restructurings.
Partner with treasury, legal, and finance on cash repatriation and foreign tax credit optimization.
Prepare and review components of the global tax provision and ASC 740 disclosures.
Maintain documentation of tax positions for risk management and defensibility.
Support business units with research and informational reporting requests.
