Job summary

SiriusPoint is seeking a Director of Group Tax Planning & Advisory to serve as the global lead for tax and transfer pricing research, planning, and advisory matters. You will identify, analyze, document, and resolve complex tax issues with sound judgment and clear communication to senior management and business stakeholders.

The role covers global transfer pricing, tax planning, and coordination with external advisors, aiming to optimize tax structures while ensuring compliance and robust

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of relevant tax experience in insurance/financial services.
• Juris Doctorate required; Tax LL.M. and NY bar helpful but not required.
• Ability to communicate complex tax concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead tax planning and advisory across the SiriusPoint Group with focus on US, Bermuda, Europe and Pillar II.
• Coordinate with business, finance, legal, and external advisors to optimize tax positions.
• Manage transfer pricing design, documentation, and compliance programs.
• Oversee tax controversy activities and audits with senior stakeholders.
• Prepare memoranda and maintain issue trackers for open matters.
