SiriusPoint is a Bermuda-headquartered specialty insurer with offices in New York and other major markets. We are seeking a Director of Group Tax Planning & Advisory to lead global tax and transfer pricing efforts, advising senior management and coordinating with finance, legal, investments, and external firms.

The role emphasizes building rigorous tax analyses, managing complex multi‑jurisdictional projects, and driving strategic tax planning for the SiriusPoint Group.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate required.
• Tax LL.M. and New York bar helpful but not required.
• 8–12 years of tax experience in insurance or financial services.
• Hands-on corporate tax planning and transactional experience.
• Fluency in English is required.
• Experience with transfer pricing and BEPS-related issues is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Lead transfer pricing for intercompany arrangements across jurisdictions.
• Develop and optimize tax structures; lead tax-related M&A due diligence and restructurings.
• Coordinate with tax, legal, finance and external advisors to drive practical outcomes.
• Prepare memoranda supporting tax positions and assist with financial reporting under ASC 740.
• Manage external advisors with clear scopes, timelines and deliverables.
