Job summary

Trading Technologies is seeking a Director of Tax to own the global tax function end to end, including provision, planning, and compliance. This hands-on leadership role will be the in‑house tax authority, guiding strategy, with one direct report and collaboration across finance, legal, and operations.

You will oversee multi‑jurisdiction tax planning, transfer pricing, and M&A considerations, partnering with external advisors to optimize cash tax and ensure audit readiness.

Qualifications

• CPA and/or advanced tax degree required.
• 15+ years progressive corporate tax experience.
• Hands-on ASC 740 expertise and tax provision ownership.
• Experience with transfer pricing in multi-entity structures.
• Experience managing external advisors and co-sourced compliance.
• Familiarity with software/SaaS tax nexus and multi-currency.

Responsibilities

• Own ASC 740 tax provision and forecasting.
• Prepare disclosures for financial statements and liaise with auditors.
• Maintain tax account reconciliations and audit-ready docs.
• Build tax controls aligned with finance environment.
• Own global tax compliance across jurisdictions.
• Manage external advisors, scope, costs, deadlines.
• Lead transfer pricing framework and intercompany charges.
• Advise on international structure and BEAT/FDII considerations.
