Job summary

KPMG LLP in the United States seeks an early-career Tax Associate for the Global Executive & Private Client Group. You will analyze international tax implications, assist with cross-border payroll, and support executives’ compensation planning across jurisdictions.

Ideal candidates are pursuing or have completed degrees in Tax or Accounting, with strong communication skills and a willingness to travel and work on-site at client locations.

Qualifications

  • Must be pursuing and have completed by start date a degree in Tax, Accounting, International Business, Finance or equivalent.
  • Preferred GPA 3.0 or above.
  • Coursework in information systems, data analytics or CS is a plus.
  • Ability to analyze basic tax and accounting information.

Responsibilities

  • Support clients in analyzing tax implications of working internationally and filing income tax returns across jurisdictions.
  • Assist corporations with setting up operations in new countries and ensure compliance with tax requirements.
  • Help determine compensation packages for executives on international assignments and support global payroll.
  • Provide global coordination for clients' mobility programs and related processes and technologies.
  • Assist Senior Associates and Managers with engagement administration and scoping.
  • Build capabilities in technologies enabling tax delivery such as AI, Alteryx and Power BI.
