Job summary

KPMG is seeking a Tax Associate for its Global Executive & Private Client Group in Tax, based in New York. The role involves analyzing tax implications of international assignments, multi-jurisdiction filings, and coordinating global mobility programs for corporate clients.

You’ll work with executives on compensation planning and global payroll while leveraging AI, Alteryx, and Power BI to enhance client service.

Qualifications

• Pursuing and/or recently completed degrees in Tax, Accounting, International Business, Finance, or equivalent.
• Preferred GPA 3.0+.
• Bilingual in English and Japanese is a plus.
• Coursework in information systems, software engineering, CS, or data analytics preferred.
• Strong analytical, technical, and business acumen skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with analyzing tax implications for international work and multi-jurisdiction filings.
• Help clients set up operations in new countries and ensure compliance.
• Support executive compensation planning and global payroll setup.
• Provide global mobility program coordination and technology enablement.
• Assist with engagement administration and scoping with senior staff.
• Develop capabilities using AI, Alteryx, Power BI and other tools.
