KPMG LLP is seeking a Senior Associate for its International Tax practice in the United States. The role involves advising multinational enterprises on cross-border planning, structuring, and tax modeling, with a focus on M&A transactions, private equity, and global operations.

The position requires strong research and writing skills, Excel modeling, and the ability to manage multiple engagements while working with U.S. and international teams.

Qualificações

• Minimum of three years’ experience on international, M&A, and/or federal tax engagements.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university; Masters in Taxation, JD, and/or LLM preferred.
• Knowledge of a broad range of international and domestic tax provisions.
• Strong research and writing, Excel modeling, and oral communication skills.
• Ability to balance multiple engagements and develop client relationships.

Responsabilidades

• Direct multinational enterprises on business decisions, including location/operation, entity choice, supply chains, and funding, considering tax risk and cash posture.
• Advise on global tax planning decisions and their potential short- and long-term implications.
• Collaborate with M&A Tax to structure tax aspects of international deals and draft opinions, memos, and Excel models.
• Assist with tax provision preparation and review compliance work for financial statements and tax implications of global operations.
• Advise on income tax treaty planning opportunities for inbound/outbound cross-border activities.
• Support international tax clients in the alternative investment space across the investment life cycle.
