Job summary

Quartermaster is seeking a mission-driven Recruiter to scale our talent pipeline across embedded engineering, software, finance, and operations. You will own full lifecycle recruiting, from strategy through closing, and collaborate with executives to translate roadmaps into role specifications.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of full-lifecycle recruiting in fast-paced startups or deep-tech
• Experience hiring across engineering and business functions
• Proven ability to design structured interview loops and evaluation rubrics

Responsibilities

• Lead full-lifecycle recruitment for embedded systems, software, hardware, and core business roles
• Architect and execute technical sourcing strategies on platforms like LinkedIn Recruiter and Gem
• Design and own end-to-end candidate pipeline infrastructure (Ashby) and candidate tracking
• Define hiring standards, interview rubrics, and candidate scorecards across departments
• Collaborate with executives to translate roadmaps into role specs, search strategies, and interview loops
• Drive offers and negotiations, including equity discussions in high-stakes hires
• Improve hiring workflows and maintain calendar efficiency using Google Workspace
• Diagnose bottlenecks to ensure rapid turnaround and strong candidate experience
• Shape and mature the sourcing and assessment methodologies as the company grows
• Serve as a flexible partner across engineering and G&A requisitions as priorities shift
