Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Professional Talent Stream Director to lead scalable talent acquisition for its corporate functions in Boise. This role drives recruitment delivery, builds capable teams, and partners with business leaders to align hiring with growth and program needs.

The ideal candidate combines strategic, data-informed leadership with a focus on candidate experience, compliance, and results, and will advance AI-enabled practices while maintaining people-first, stakeholder-focused delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of related experience in talent acquisition, recruiting operations, workforce planning, HR or a related discipline.
• Experience leading through managers and across multi-functional teams.
• Proven ability to influence senior leaders and deliver recruiting outcomes in complex environments.
• Experience using data, reporting, and labor market insights to guide strategy.

Responsibilities

• Execute talent acquisition strategy for assigned talent stream in alignment with enterprise governance.
• Lead recruiting delivery against hiring demand, pipeline health, velocity, candidate experience, quality-of-hire, and workforce readiness goals.
• Lead and develop Senior Managers and recruiting teams; drive performance and succession planning.
• Serve as a talent advisor to business leaders, communicating labor market realities and pipeline insights.
• Partner cross-functionally to support pre-award planning, bid readiness, and post-award delivery.
