Job summary

Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager of Systems Operations to lead a globally distributed analyst team and drive service excellence for traders, back office, and IT staff.

The role focuses on incident reduction, automation, and cross-functional collaboration across development, infra, and network teams. Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of people leadership in a high-consequence technical ops environment, with strong Linux/Windows administration, scripting, and monitoring

Qualifications

• 5+ years of direct people management experience in a technical operations environment.
• Strategic thinking to link operational metrics to business outcomes.
• Experience with production operations, monitoring and alerting.
• Proficiency in Bash, Python and/or PowerShell scripting.
• Strong Linux and Windows Server administration.
• Documentation using Confluence.
• Experience with automation of business continuity/disaster recovery.

Responsibilities

• Lead a globally distributed team of Analysts across the US, India, and Australia.
• Identify and drive process improvements to reduce incidents and increase velocity.
• Build capability through training, coaching, and documentation standards.
• Collaborate with development, engineering, infrastructure, and networks teams.
• Lead or participate in automation and AI-enabled workflows.
• Participate in on-call rotation; perform other duties as directed by management.
