Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Systems Administrator to join a global IT team. You will maintain Windows and Linux environments, manage user accounts and hardware, and collaborate with DevOps and development teams to drive reliability and security.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT or related field, or equivalent.
2–5 years in Systems Administrator or related IT roles.
US citizenship with security clearance or ability to obtain one.
Willingness to travel and work in a global team.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Experience administering Windows and Linux environments.
Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices.

Responsibilities

Provide responsive help-desk support and onboarding assistance.
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network problems with teammates.
Administer Windows client and server environments: setup, configuration, maintenance.
Contribute to networking tasks involving routers, switches, and firewalls.
Implement cybersecurity best practices and security protocols.
Monitor system performance and resolve issues to prevent downtime.
Collaborate with global IT professionals and DevOps teams.
Assist with new technologies, software, and hardware upgrades.
Manage the IT environment, including user accounts and hardware.
