Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a transformational Senior Vice President to head Global Solution Engineering for Tableau and join the Tableau & Data360 Leadership Team. This role leads a global, high‑performing solutions engineering organization, shaping a differentiated go‑to‑market strategy and driving adoption of Tableau as the semantic layer for the AI‑first enterprise.

The SVP will partner with Sales, Product, and Marketing to accelerate growth, align roadmaps, and deliver measurable business

Qualifications

Extensive pre‑sales leadership or consulting in enterprise software.
Proven ability to build trusted C‑level relationships with CIOs/CTOs and senior stakeholders.
Strong technical acumen with the ability to translate complex concepts for technical and non‑technical audiences.
Experience with Analytics, BI, or data platforms and knowledge of AI/agentic tech.
Experience leading enterprise transformations at scale and achieving revenue goals.

Responsibilities

Lead and scale Tableau’s Global Solution Engineering as a unified global team.
Position Tableau as the semantic intelligence layer for the AI‑first enterprise.
