Job summary

CPS Inc. is seeking a Sustainability Manager in Camden, NJ to lead the sustainability program from concept to business strategy. You will collaborate with Operations, R&D, Supply Chain, Commercial, and executives to shape the company-wide ESG agenda and drive product sustainability initiatives.

You will own metrics, disclosures, and external engagement, ensuring data integrity and alignment with regulatory requirements, market expectations, and corporate goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5–8 years in sustainability/ESG or environmental management.
• Willingness to travel ~25% as needed.
• Experience leading sustainability/ESG programs.
• Strong knowledge of ESG reporting frameworks and disclosure standards.
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive cross-functional initiatives.
• Excellent communication and MS Office/sustainability software proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute sustainability/ESG strategy, aligning with corporate goals and customer needs.
• Develop priorities, roadmaps, targets, and governance structures.
• Lead data collection, validation, and disclosures with external engagement.
• Collaborate with R&D, Engineering, Operations to integrate sustainability into products and processes.
• Engage with suppliers and external stakeholders on sustainability expectations.
• Manage projects, track progress, and report performance to leadership.
