Job summary

Panasonic Energy Corporation of North America seeks a Manager of Sustainability Strategy to lead ESG programs across U.S. operations and global stakeholders. You will drive ISO 14001/45001 initiatives, GHG management, decarbonization, and customer sustainability projects.

You’ll work with sites in the U.S. and partners in Japan, manage cross‑functional projects, and report KPI updates to executives. Domestic and international travel up to 30% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, Business or related field.
• Master’s degree or advanced studies in Sustainability, Environmental Management, or ESG‑related discipline.
• 3–5+ years of experience in EHS-related roles.
• 2–3+ years cross‑functional collaboration with on-site teams.
• Practical experience in ESG operations and PMO.
• Hands‑on ISO 14001 and/or ISO 45001 implementation or management.
• Knowledge of ESG, environmental, human rights, and governance regulations.
• Experience with GHG accounting (Scope 1–3), LCA, and CFP calculations.
• Experience supporting external ESG audits and due diligence.

Responsibilities

• Lead ESG programs including ISO 14001 / ISO 45001 and GHG management.
• Act as PMO for ESG with project plans, roadmaps, and risk registers.
• Manage certification and audit readiness activities and audits.
• Support Scope 1–3 GHG, LCA, and CFP calculations.
• Drive renewable energy deployment and metrics.
• Coordinate ESG engagements with customers and suppliers.
• Support supplier sustainability and decarbonization initiatives.
• Lead ESG KPI management and executive reporting.
• Contribute to human rights due diligence and policy updates.
