Job summary

Lenovo is seeking a Global Supply Management professional in Morrisville, NC to ensure end-to-end supply continuity and optimize inventory across global operations. You will partner with GCM, OE/CF, Sales, Operations, Planning, Engineering, Manufacturing, and key suppliers to develop and execute supply strategies that support growth and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in supply chain, supply management, procurement, commodity management, planning, or supplier management.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes including demand planning, supply planning, supplier commits, PO execution, inventory management, and shortage management.
• Experience managing complex global supply situations and working with multiple manufacturing sites and regional teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable decisions.
• Strong supplier negotiation, escalation, and relationship-management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Own global supply management for assigned commodities.
• Translate demand, backlog, forecasts into actionable supply plans.
• Identify supply constraints and drive mitigation actions.
• Develop allocation and prioritization strategies during shortages.
• Ensure supply plans support customer requirements and manufacturing schedules.
• Manage supplier performance including delivery and lead time.
• Conduct regular supplier reviews and drive closure of supply gaps.
• Balance supply assurance and inventory efficiency across global operations.
• Collaborate with Planning, Procurement and Finance to optimize inventory positioning.
