Job summary

Lenovo in Morrisville, NC is seeking a Master Planning Specialist to lead forecasting for the portfolio across system units. You will create and maintain forecast models with input from geography PMs, marketing operations, and ISO Commercial Operations teams.

This role acts as the integration point with product managers and planning teams, handling basic forecast modeling and leading cycle dialogues to align demand and supply plans across the organization.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business preferably with a strong analytical discipline.
• 3+ years experience in supply chain.
• Strong Excel skills with Power Query tools are preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop demand forecasts at multiple levels and horizons as part of demand planning.
• Develop and maintain an attach rate plan at the sales building block level.
• Develop and maintain a volume plan for the associated options.
• Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers and prepare forecast data.
• Coordinate cross-functional research to reconcile variances and refine forecasts.
• Interact with product managers and marketing operations to understand drivers.
• Utilize the Demand Planning software as the primary forecasting system tool.
• Provide input to supply planning for inventory strategies and collaboration with supply management.
