Job summary

Formlabs, based in Somerville, MA, is seeking a Global Supply Manager to partner with R&D and suppliers for new product introductions. You will own PFEP in NPI BOM, negotiate contracts, and drive cost/value optimization while managing supply risk and supplier performance.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years post-graduate experience in strategic sourcing, manufacturing, or supplier quality engineering.
• Ability to travel internationally (up to 20%) to visit suppliers for quality audits and relationship building.
• Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience reading engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Strong data analysis and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Identify and qualify suppliers for new product introductions.
• Own PFEP (Plan for every part) in an NPI BOM; manage supplier selection, negotiation, and contract execution to secure value and quality.
• Facilitate communication of technical requirements between suppliers and Formlabs R&D.
• Proactively research manufacturing technologies and market intelligence for robust supply chain strategies.
• Identify supply risks, lead negotiations, and drive supplier performance improvements.
• Lead supplier manufacturing process development and launch readiness for new products and design changes.
• Own cost modeling and cost estimation work for new products.
• Source and procure material for NPI builds and maintain clear-to-build reports for senior leadership.
