Job summary

Relativity Space is seeking a Global Supply Manager, Machining, to design and scale supply chains for complex machined components and major vehicle structures. You will partner with Propulsion Engineering, Manufacturing Operations, and Planning to ensure cost, quality, and on-time delivery, creating a competitive advantage for the Terran R program.

The role requires hands-on supplier management, contract negotiations, and risk management, with mentoring responsibilities and a push to improve

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field.
• Demonstrated experience managing suppliers for complex aerospace or advanced manufacturing commodities.
• Proven track record of negotiating contracts and managing milestone-based agreements.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems (LN, SAP, Oracle, or equivalent) and knowledge of aerospace manufacturing processes such as CNC machining, 5-axis milling, turning, EDM, and tight-tolerance fabrication.

Responsibilities

• Lead sourcing and supplier management for custom machined components and major vehicle structures ensuring cost, quality, and delivery targets are achieved.
• Develop and execute supply chain strategies, including supplier selection, long-term agreements, and capacity planning to support Terran-R build schedules.
• Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Quality, and Planning to influence design for manufacturability and align procurement with program milestones.
• Drive supplier performance through rigorous risk management, contract negotiations, and milestone-based tracking.
• Mentor and support team members, building expertise in precision machining processes and supplier development.
• Act as a thought leader for machining commodities, continuously improving sourcing processes, supplier health, and program readiness.
