Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Senior Supply Chain Strategy Manager to drive enterprise-wide strategy across its global businesses. You will translate principles into Make/Buy decisions, footprint optimization, and automation, influencing executive decisions with data-driven insights.

You will partner with the Strategy Leader to deploy a scalable framework, develop financial models, and lead cross-functional initiatives that improve cost, resilience, and efficiency across the supply chain.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, or Business.
• Significant experience in Supply Chain, Finance, Lean, or Sourcing.
• Proven track record leading cross-functional projects and presenting to senior global stakeholders.
• Strong quantitative and data analysis skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information into strategic insights.
• Demonstrated change leadership in complex, matrixed organizations.
• Strategic thinker who balances thought leadership with measurable results.
• Excellent communication skills — written and verbal — with experience influencing cross-cultural in large global organizations.
• Willingness to travel approximately 30% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead enterprise-wide supply chain strategy across GE Vernova businesses, translating principles into actionable decisions on Make vs Buy, footprint, and automation.
• Identify and unlock structural value opportunities (cost, growth, resilience, margin expansion).
• Influence CEO/ELT-level decisions with data-backed, system-level insights.
• Partner with cross-functional teams on strategic initiatives and deploy the strategy framework.
• Develop financial models and capacity planning to guide decision-making.
• Collaborate with business development on supply chain strategy to support growth goals.
• Build and present business cases highlighting trade-offs such as SIOP, capex, and risk.
• Create standard capability matrices adopted across Global Supply Chain.
• Lead process for identifying strategic sites for growth and financial benefits.
• Work with Corporate Strategy to incorporate market trends into Voice of Customer.
• Improve strategy framework through data collection and cross-functional feedback.
