Job summary

Flexport is seeking a Manager, Supply Chain Protection & Loss Intelligence in Miami, FL to lead global security and loss-prevention initiatives across offices, warehouses, and partners. You will drive analytics, policy creation, and proactive risk mitigation while coordinating with operations, facilities, and leadership.

The role involves building a data-driven security program, implementing SOPs, and overseeing 50+ security personnel and vendors to protect people and assets globally.

Qualifications

• 8+ years combining physical security or loss prevention with data analytics, policy or program design.
• Experience managing security ops across multiple locations and geographies.
• Proven ability to build and analyze security metrics and report to executives.
• Author global policies, SOPs, and security plans from scratch.
• Manage third-party guard services and security contracts; conduct investigations.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration with HR, Legal, Ops, Compliance.
• Analytical mindset with attention to root causes and problem solving.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain security and loss prevention metrics, KPIs, and dashboards across facilities.
• Analyze incident data to identify trends, causes, and risks; translate into actions for leadership.
• Build reporting frameworks supporting data-driven resource allocation and vendor evaluation.
• Provide regular analytical reports on security posture, losses, and program ROI to senior management.
• Author, maintain, and enforce global security policies and SOPs across locations.
• Develop SOPs for key scenarios (Active Shooter, Emergency Response, high value cages, etc.).
• Create site-level security plans tailored to local risk profiles and operations.
• Design and deliver training on physical security, travel security, incident reporting, etc.
• Develop audit frameworks and LP checklists for site leads.
• Oversee security programs across offices, warehouses, and partner sites globally.
• Lead security stand-up for new facilities and market entries, including vendor selection.
• Administer CCTV and access control platforms; evaluate new tech deployments.
• Serve as crisis management coordinator with real-time threat assessments.
• Coordinate with HSE, HR, Legal, and Compliance on security matters.
• Drive loss prevention in the Omni network: theft, workplace violence, etc.
• Manage security ticketing system triage, updates, and documentation.
• Identify root causes of losses and develop preventive recommendations.
• Review CCTV evidence for investigations and legal use.
• Manage third-party guards and vendor contracts; conduct service reviews.
• Collaborate with security integrators and onboard vendors for expansion.
• Oversee MSAs and NDAs for security providers; ensure contractual compliance.
• Conduct regular business reviews with vendors and assess service delivery.
