Job summary

Flexport in Chicago is seeking a Senior Manager for Supply Chain Protection and Loss Intelligence. You will lead a 50+ strong security team across global facilities, drive data-driven loss prevention, and shape global policies and SOPs to safeguard people and assets.

The role requires building metrics, reporting to senior leadership, and coordinating with HSE, HR, Legal, and Compliance. Travel domestically and internationally is expected, with a focus on proactive security strategy.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in security with data analytics, policy or program design.
• Experience across multiple locations and CCTV/access control.
• Experience building security metrics and executive reporting.
• Author global policies, SOPs and security plans.
• Experience managing third-party guards and contracts.
• Excellent communication with cross-functional teams.
• Analytical mindset with root-cause problem solving.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain security metrics and dashboards.
• Analyze incident data to identify trends and risks.
• Build reporting frameworks for resource allocation and vendor evaluation.
• Provide regular security posture reports to senior management.
• Author global security policies and SOPs.
• Develop site security plans for new facilities.
• Design and deliver training on security topics.
• Manage electronic security systems across facilities.
• Lead security planning for new facilities and market entries.
• Oversee vendor contracts and NDAs for security providers.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams on security matters.
