Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Supply Chain Project Analyst to join the DePuy Synthes Supply Chain Product Management/Technical Operations group in Chennai. You will lead and support cross-functional projects, drive operational excellence, and ensure continuity of supply with external manufacturers and collaborators.

The role requires a minimum of a bachelor’s degree and at least 1 year in supply chain, operations, engineering, or related fields, with strong communication, problem-solving, and

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of work experience in supply chain, operations, engineering, project management, procurement, R&D or quality function
• Strong communication and influencing skills to effectively collaborate across functions and with suppliers
• Strong problem-solving, planning, and organizing skills
• Preferred: Six Sigma/Lean methodologies, data analytics, and experience with suppliers

Responsibilities

• Support and lead initiatives to ensure supply chain reliability, quality, compliance, innovation and profitability/cost improvements
• Lead and support Supplier Change Requests
• Support Purchase Order Placement and reconciliation of vendor invoices
• Support Change Management Tasks, including CR/CN initiation, Functional Impact Assessments and Action and Deployment Tasks
• Lead/Execute projects in line with standard project management guidelines
• Lead and resolve issues which relate to Reliability, Quality and Compliance improvements
• Lead supply continuity improvement and disruption recovery actions
• Instil and maintain a sense of urgency and customer focus within the Supply Chain team in collaboration with external manufacturing partners and strategic collaborators
• Support execution of new products and/or integration of new products into base business LCM processes, ensuring successful supply execution to deliver growth for new products or newly stabilized products
• Ensure that projects are performed in compliance with the Quality System and drives efforts to improve a culture of quality and compliance
• Develop strong business partner relationships throughout the organization to drive alignment on strategic priorities
• Develop in-depth understanding of various business processes, governances and supporting systems and the tools/templates used for project & portfolio management
• Demonstrate strong project management skills, including project planning, creation of shared team goals, delivering project in line with established milestone dates, capital/expense management, communication plans, leading resolution of risks & issues and balancing multiple activities to accomplish goals
