Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Magna, UT seeks a Global Supply Chain Program Manager 3 to lead strategy, planning and execution for a critical program. This on-site role requires coordinating cross-functional teams and managing budgets, schedules and supplier performance across multiple sites in northern Utah.

The candidate should have 8+ years of program management experience (or 6+ with a Master’s) and familiarity with EVMS and government contracting.

Qualifications

• Experience in program management, budgeting, or related field.
• Proven ability to manage budgets and schedules of significant scope and complexity.
• Experience with Earned Value Management requirements and government contracting.

Responsibilities

• Accountable to the PMO for the Global Supply Chain organization and cross-functional alignment.
• Meet material budget requirements to support PMO financial commitments.
• Oversee supply chain program execution including budget, resources, forecasting, and risk management.
• Develop material strategy and lead material estimating and budgeting with PMO.
• Ensure complete schedules, budgets, make/buy plans and procurement strategies before execution.
• Develop mitigation plans for supply chain risks related to suppliers.
• Brief PMO and executives on status and required actions.
• Drive initiatives to reduce cost and improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, quality and others to meet production needs within budget.
• Frequent on-site travel between three major production facilities in northern Utah.
