Job summary

Lumentum seeks a Vice President of Supply Chain Planning to drive global material flows and long‑range capacity strategies across wafers and modules. You will translate volatile forecasts into unified supply strategies, partnering with senior leaders to optimize CapEx, inventory, and delivery capability.

This executive role requires 15+ years in supply chain leadership, with cross‑continent experience and strong APS/SAP S/4HANA exposure to govern planning and ensure margin protection.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in SCM or related field; MBA/MS preferred.
• 15+ years of progressive leadership in supply chain or operations, with 5+ years in S&OP/IBP transformations.
• Global scope exposure managing cross‑continental planning networks (NA/Asia).
• Dual-domain focus bridging Fab and back‑end module integration.
• CPIM/CSCP certifications strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Chair the monthly SIOP/IBP review cycle with Product Units, Sales, Finance and Operations.
• Ingest volatile forecasts and map them to long‑term capacity limits.
• Present data-backed scenarios to executives on trade-offs and capacity risks.
• Coordinate with Finance to align capacity with budgets and margins.
• Partner with IBP and Procurement/Logistics to embed strategy into cadence.
• Align Fab/Factory leaders with macro planning to avoid capacity constraints.
• Lead APS/enterprise planning tech roadmap and govern master data for planning.
