Job summary

Corning Incorporated is seeking a Global Planning Manager to lead global capacity, demand planning and supply strategies across regions. You will manage a team of planners, align with customers, and drive optimization initiatives to ensure high service levels and efficient inventory management.

You will collaborate with manufacturing, supply chain and product teams to implement strategies, monitor KPIs, and report progress through regular reviews and product overviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in SC, Business.
• 8+ years of experience in supply chain planning, with global scope.
• Proven track record in capacity planning, demand forecasting, and optimization.
• Strong leadership with multi-region mentoring capability.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Proficiency in advanced planning systems (e.g., SAP) and analytical tools.
• Demonstrated experience driving supply chain improvements and targets.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and management of global capacity and demand plans (SIOP).
• Oversee Customer Supply Chain Analysts to align plans with global strategies.
• Collaborate with key customers to understand demand models and forecasts.
• Define and drive global replenishment strategies and inventory transitions.
• Coordinate with manufacturing and operations for flexible capacity.
• Drive initiatives on security of supply, inventory optimization, and SLOB.
• Develop and execute strategic supply chain initiatives for availability and efficiency.
• Set global KPIs and monitor delivery, inventory, and cost.
• Lead cross-functional teams on supply chain process improvements.
• Provide updates to stakeholders and lead reviews and planning efforts.
• Represent Supply Chain within Product Team structure.
