Job summary

Corning is a world leader in glass, ceramic, and materials science. The Global Planning Manager will develop and execute global supply chain strategies to align capacity, demand, and supply across regions while ensuring exceptional service to customers.

You will lead Product Line Planners, manage relationships with customers and manufacturers, and drive improvements across the end-to-end supply chain to optimize availability, cost efficiency, and risk management.

Qualifications

8+ years in supply chain planning with global operations
Proven capacity planning and forecast experience
Strong leadership to manage regional teams
Excellent communication with internal/external stakeholders
Experience with SAP and analytical tools

Responsibilities

Lead global capacity and demand plans (SIOP) across regions
Manager Product Line Planners and align product planning with global strategies
Collaborate with key customers to understand demand models and forecast consensus
Define and drive global replenishment strategies and manage inventory transitions
Collaborate with manufacturing and operations to ensure flexible capacity across product lines
Drive global supply chain initiatives related to security of supply and SLOB management
Develop and execute strategic supply chain initiatives for availability and efficiency
Set global KPIs for supply chain performance and monitor targets
Lead cross-functional teams in planning and improvement projects related to supply chain processes
