Job summary

Corning Inc. in the United States is seeking a Supply Chain Master Planner to develop and maintain master plans that align demand with capacity, material availability, and inventory targets.

You will collaborate with Manufacturing, Demand Management, Customer Service, Materials, and Logistics to ensure feasible supply plans and timely customer commitments in a fast-paced environment. APICS certification and SAP experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations Management, Logistics, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience in master planning, MPS, MRP, capacity planning, demand planning, and production planning.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making skills.
• Proficiency with Excel and ability to maintain planning data within ERP systems.
• Experience with SAP and planning tools in a manufacturing or supply chain environment.
• APICS CPIM, CSCP, or other supply chain certification; Power BI, SQL, or analytics tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain master supply plans that align customer demand with manufacturing capacity, material availability, inventory targets, and business priorities.
• Establish realistic production schedules, product availability dates, and customer commitments based on capacity, material, and supply conditions.
• Perform capacity and supply analyses to identify constraints, risks, shortages, and recovery opportunities; support decision-making and plan execution.
• Manage fiber, material, and interplant supply requirements to ensure production readiness and alignment across the network.
• Monitor inventory, work-in-process, planned supply, and SAP planning signals to balance supply-demand and performance.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Plant Planning, Demand Management, Product Line Management, Customer Service, and others to align priorities and execute plans.
• Communicate supply risks, capacity limitations, and mitigation strategies to stakeholders; drive continuous improvement in planning performance.
• Other duties, responsibilities, and qualifications may be assigned as needed.
