Job summary

Corning Incorporated is seeking a Global Planning Manager to develop and execute global supply chain strategies aligning capacity, demand, and supply across regions while delivering exceptional service. You will lead Product Line Planners, manage customer relationships, and drive improvements across the end-to-end supply chain.

Responsibilities include coordinating demand models with customers, optimizing replenishment strategies, and ensuring contingency plans across product lines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 8+ years of experience in supply chain planning with global operations and team management.
• Proven track record in capacity planning, demand forecasting, and supply chain optimization at global/product levels.
• Strong leadership with ability to mentor teams across regions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with internal teams and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in advanced planning systems (e.g., SAP) and analytical tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and management of global capacity and demand plans (SIOP).
• Manage Product Line Planners and align product planning with global strategies.
• Collaborate with key customers to understand demand models and forecast consensus.
• Define and drive global replenishment strategies and manage inventory transitions for new products.
• Coordinate with manufacturing, supply chain, and operations to ensure flexible capacity and contingency plans.
• Drive global supply chain initiatives for security of supply and cost efficiency.
• Develop and implement strategic supply chain initiatives to ensure product availability.
• Set and monitor global KPIs for supply chain performance and targets.
