Teledyne is seeking a Supply Chain Planner in Plainville, CT to manage product supply from key suppliers through to global distribution. You will ensure finished product availability and coordinate with suppliers, production planning, and logistics teams to meet customer demand.

Responsibilities include maintaining supplier performance, expediting orders when needed, updating SAP planning parameters in MRP, and driving improvements in material planning and delivery processes in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Business degree or equivalent experience.
• HNC equivalent qualification in inventory or supply chain.
• Supply chain and/or Inventory planning experience.
• General knowledge of SAP would be an advantage.
• Business understanding of Inventory, logistics, finance, manufacturing.
• A positive attitude and good work ethic.

Responsabilités

• Manage product supply from key suppliers through to global distribution warehouses.
• Relationship management of key suppliers for continuous material supply.
• Timely placement of purchase orders and forecasting with delivery schedules.
• Develop plans and weekly supplier reviews for material production requirements.
• Expedite and reschedule purchase orders to meet inventory targets and delivery performance.
• Monitor customer order backlog and support order services to maximize revenue.
• Maintain SAP planning parameters and update MRP data.
• Identify improvements to material planning and delivery processes.
