Job summary

Whirlpool Corporation's Global Supply Chain Leadership Development Program (GSCLDP) Internship is a 12-week summer experience in Michigan. Interns own high-impact projects in procurement or supply chain operations, partnering with cross-functional teams to drive tangible results at a major U.S.

manufacturer. Participants may be considered for full-time opportunities post-graduation, with housing support for interns relocating 50+ miles from Benton Harbor.

Qualifications

• Pursuing bachelor's degree with expected graduation by May 2029.
• Majoring in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Integrated Supply Management, Applied Engineering Sciences, Business Administration or Finance.
• US work authorization; visas not sponsored for this program.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects within Inventory Management such as SKU analysis, dashboard performance or data validation.
• Manage projects within Inbound or Outbound Transportation including carrier selection & routing strategy.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Manufacturing, Sales and Marketing teams.
• Identify bottlenecks and propose process improvements in inventory control systems.
• Support production planning processes and standard operating procedures.
• Assist with supplier evaluation and cost optimization initiatives.
