Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior Supply Chain Manager to drive the automation of Amazon Logistics delivery stations across North America and Europe. You will work with our engineering team on new product development, identify strategic suppliers, lead negotiations, and guide projects from proof of concept to scale-up.

The role emphasizes supplier selection, project execution, and supply chain optimization with a focus on risk management and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related industry experience.
• 5+ years of data analysis using tools such as Excel, Pivot Tables, SQL, Tableau, or equivalent experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in high-volume manufacturing operations or sourcing environments.
• Experience with Continuous Improvement and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Experience in global supply chain management, managing cross-functional teams in a fast-paced consumer electronics product company.
• Experience in program, project or product management, or leading product implementation.

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on capabilities, cost-effectiveness, and reliability.
• Lead the negotiation process to secure favorable terms and conditions for our organization.
• Conduct rigorous supplier qualification processes to assess their ability to meet our quality, delivery, and performance standards.
• Develop and implement comprehensive project plans to ensure timely and efficient execution.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and take proactive measures to mitigate them.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project stays on track.
• Continuously analyze supply chain processes to identify opportunities for improvement and cost reduction.
• Develop and Implement strategies to scale up the technologies across regions with qualified suppliers
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to foster collaboration and address any issues promptly.
• Identify and assess potential supply chain risks, such as supplier disruptions, quality issues, or geopolitical factors.
• Develop and implement contingency plans to minimize the impact of these risks.
