Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Sr. Supply Chain Manager with a strong planning background to lead strategic initiatives across our network capacity. You will own end-to-end supply chain operations, focusing on sales & operations planning, logistics optimization, and network design.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of program or project management experience.
• 5+ years of supply chain experience.
• Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic initiatives related to network capacity across Amazon's business units.
• Concentrate on optimizing the flow of goods, information, or services within the supply chain network.
• Balance supply and demand; assess and improve the efficiency of distribution networks, warehouses, or logistics operations.
• Analyze data to identify opportunities for customer experience and operational efficiency improvements in network capacity.
• Define metrics, develop program management mechanisms, and simplify processes to inform decisions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to achieve shared network capacity goals.
• Manage cross-functional network capacity initiatives with lean principles at scale.
• Own a portfolio of programs related to network capacity and drive performance improvements.
• Identify and deliver operational improvements in inventory management, logistics strategy, and transportation optimization.
• Monitor and optimize key network capacity metrics to ensure smooth flow of goods.
