Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Vice President, Global Supply Chain EHS to lead the EHS function for its worldwide manufacturing and supply-chain network. This senior role reports to the Vice President, Global EHS and shapes the framework, standards, and assurance system for the network.

The role partners with Global Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Operations, Engineering, and Quality to embed EHS into capital decisions, facility design, and network changes, while prioritizing SIF prevention and

Responsibilities

A) Establish SIF prevention as the safety priority across the network with clear critical controls and ownership.
B) Develop and execute a multi-year EHS strategy aligned with enterprise direction and regional/site teams.
C) Set risk reduction standards for machine safeguarding, energy, electrical safety and warehouse safety.
D) Communicate expectations and build frontline capability to recognize hazards and stop unsafe work.
E) Integrate environmental standards into operations and capital projects across the network.
F) Run a risk-based audit/assurance program focusing on high-risk facilities and incidents.
G) Embed EHS into capital planning, equipment procurement, and network changes.
H) Build a balanced performance framework with leading indicators and continuous improvement.
