Job summary

Protolabs in Maple Plain, MN is seeking a Global Supply Chain Director for a hybrid role (onsite Tue-Thu). You will lead the global partner ecosystem, drive supplier strategy, and optimize network capacity while guiding a 16-person team across multiple regions to ensure world-class performance and scalable capabilities.

You will define and execute our network fulfillment vision, focusing on partner development, operational excellence, and cost optimization to support worldwide customer delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, Business, or a related field.
• 12+ years of progressive roles within Supply Chain Management and related areas.
• 5+ years of management experience leading teams and cross-functional initiatives.
• Experience building international supply chains across Asia, Mexico, US or Europe.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage global partner network aligned with commercial needs.
• Establish supplier performance framework with KPIs for quality and on-time delivery.
• Lead and develop a 16-person cross-regional supply chain team.
• Collaborate with Product Management to support new capabilities and capacity planning.
